As the P80 chassis continues to age, the rubber becomes less flexible and can crack, allowing unmetered air into the intake. This reduces reliability and can cause a surging idle. The do88 Silicone Idle Air Control Hose is made to last, constructed of heavy-duty silicone that won't dry out and allow unmetered air into your intake. The silicone can withstand high pressure and temperature due to its three-to-five-layer construction, depending on the inner diameter.
