DESCRIPTION
If you need to replace any bushings on your front control arms (front or rear position), we also recommend replacing the ball joints at the same time to save on labor and alignment costs. We offer only high quality, OEM Replacement ball joints.
Volvo introduced two different control arm and ball joint designs on their P2 chassis models. The earlier style control arms were made of aluminum, and the later style control arms were made of steel. The two control arms are not interchangeable, and each have uniquely design ball joints. The genuine Volvo ball joints we are offering are for the earlier style control arms (aluminum), and fit the following models:
- 2001-2006 S60, S60R (up to chassis number -626501)
- 2001-2007 V70, V70R (Factory Code 1*, up to chassis number -647148, OR Factory Code* 2, up to chassis number -645617)
- 2001-2007 XC70 (up to chassis number -269745)
- 1999-2006 S80 classic
