DESCRIPTION
Increase the sound output of your Volvo S90 T8 by installing a Heico Selected Sound Exhaust System. This system is designed to work with 2017+ Volvo S90/V90 T8 models.
Heico Selected Sound Exhaust System provides relevant driving dynamical data such as speed, revs of the engine, engine load and throttle position from the vehicle can-bus system. All that data is then transmitted to the provided sound processor. The sound processor enhances that data and plays corresponding enhanced engine noises. The sound processor is control by a Heico E.motion unit to ensure accurate exhaust tones.
In order to produce an authentic V8 exhaust note, the Heico Sportiv technicians have invested numerous hours to create a sound file that is worthy of the Volvo S90 T6 AWD. The driver has a choice between the original exhaust note or the pure awesome V8 rumble. During startup, the E.motion unit will control the Selected Sound Processor to emit a V8 startup noise. After a few seconds the Selected Sound Processor falls quiet until the vehicle is back in motion. Above 40mph or below 31mph, the Selected Sound Processor is active and emitting powerful V8 noises. The original factory muffler is replaced with a Heico Selected Sounds Muffler.
